David Sullivan is Director of Professional Services at ShipScience, where he helps enterprise shippers gain greater control over parcel costs, carrier performance, and operational efficiency.
With nearly 25 years of experience in parcel logistics, David specializes in small parcel and LTL carrier contract negotiation, pricing optimization, and operational strategy. Throughout his career, he has led consultative engagements that have helped shippers improve carrier agreements, reduce transportation costs, and strengthen their overall parcel strategy.
Prior to joining ShipScience, David held multiple leadership roles at Shipware, including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Professional Services. Earlier in his career, he served as a senior consultant helping companies optimize their UPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL carrier agreements—successfully improving more than 120 carrier contracts and delivering millions in annual shipping cost savings for clients.
David is known for his deep understanding of carrier pricing structures, his consultative approach to logistics optimization, and his ability to build and lead high-performing teams that deliver measurable results for shippers.
He holds an MBA from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business and a BA in History from Temple University.
